Real-time 3D ball tracking

The ball tracking code is published in the RobotCub software repository, under the terms of GNU GPL v2.0. Its official documentation is generated by doxygen, you can find it here. While the official documentation is not complete, you can find information on how to use the ball tracking software here.

The number of iCub robots in research institutions around the globe is on the rise and the ball tracker, coupled with the kinematics software developed by Ugo Pattacini, is now widely used in demonstrations of reaching.

If you use the ball tracker for your research, please cite my paper: "Tracking objects with generic calibrated sensors: an algorithm based on color and 3D shape features".
